Lying north of Calabanga Poblacion, Sabang is bounded on the north of San Miguel Bay, on the South of Barangay Salvacion-Baybay, on the east of Barangay Sogod and the west Barangay Balatasan and San Lucas.

The land areas measured approximately 174.5397 hectares and it is divided into seven (7) major zones. The zone 5, 6 & 7 along barangay road west of the Provincial Road and the Barangay North western end of the provincial road.

Zone 3 is the beehive of morning, noon and afternoon first landing of bounty seafoods sale activities. There are landmarks like functional lighthouse concrete seawall, complete Elementary and Secondary Schools, Barangay Chapel, long narrow Public Market and Public toilets, Barangay Health Center, Botika sa Barangat and Waiting Sheds are found here.

The Zone 4 is found across the Sabang Creek occupying the whole eastern part of migrant fishermen from Camarines Norte and from other province of Sorsogon and Visayas.

Sabang has an approximate total population of 5,426. it has 1,062 households. Sabang has clean and organized Health Center. Health Work who drawn salary from the barangay fund and income. Medicines needs of the barangay health center are subsidized by the barangay council.

There are three Day Care classes found within the locality; Looban Area, Maligaya Zone 7A and Maligaya 7B.

Sabang Elementary School which is located within the two zones 6 & 7 the three (3) hectares lot donated by the late Congressman Emilio Tible Sr. the School composed of 28 teaching and non teaching staff headed by the school Principal.

As a support to literacy, Sabang High School has been put up last June 1996 and presently improving its physical condition. In fact it was legislated as nationalized High School last 1997.

The constituents depend their daily living from various livelihood sources specifically on fishing and other relative endeavors on marine resources.
The life and future of Sabangueños depend on the grace given by the San Miguel Bay.
