Based on an initiative of the Local Committee for the College of Europe, the Student Affairs Office organizes activities throughout the academic year, with the aim of making students feel at home in Bruges.
The aim of the host family project is to create an opportunity for Bruges families to come into contact with College of Europe students and vice versa.
The idea is that host families invite small groups of students (2-4) to “Sunday lunch”, from which international friendships can grow. Students feel better integrated in their new host city.
Host families enjoy the rich intercultural contact with College of Europe students.
