The Department of Education and Communities' Scholars Facebook Group is owned and administered by the Department's teach.NSW team. The purpose of the group is to connect DEC Scholars and provide an engaging forum for group members to share information and experiences, and facilitate discussion related to being a DEC Scholar and teaching in NSW Public Schools. This is a secret group and only DEC Scholars can join the group or see posts and comments on the group page. To join this group, you are required to use your real identity and not a pseudonym, as per Facebook's name standards, so other members know who they're connecting with.
The 'rules of engagement' below are intended to ensure that this is a comfortable space for Scholars to share stories, discuss relevant topics and provide comments. When you post or comment on our group page:
