Join us for Josiah’s Journey 5th Fun Run/Walk in the Park for Neonatal Intensive Care on Sunday June1st at Springbank Gardens (285 Wonderland Road South), London.
10-11am Morning Registration
11am Opening Ceremony and Run/Walk begins
There will be prizes for our top fundraisers, music, and fun activities for kids. A toonie ($2) BBQ, sponsored by BBQ Feast catering, will be served for all pre- registered participants following the run/walk.
This year we have set our goal high – we want to bring together 500 participants and raise $50,000. It is our wish to bring together families and friends who wish to celebrate a child’s legacy, support advancements in Neonatal Care and give back to the medical professionals who give so much. Together, we can make this happen!
To date Josiah's Journey has raised over $111,000 for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Proceeds have helped to purchase a specialized piece of equipment called the"Giraffe Incubator". This specialized equipment ensures that premature and critically ill infants have emergency access in an incubator environment. It meets all of the infant’s needs so that the number of times they must be moved during their earliest, most critical period is minimized.
