1: WHEN A CALL IS ACTIVE AND INVOLVES LAW ENFORCEMENT, ANYTHING THAT INCLUDES STAND OFF, HOSTAGE, OR ANY CHANCE THAT A SUBJECT MAY BE ABLE TO CAUSE HARM TO ANOTHER PERSON, PLEASE DO NOT LIST ANY INFORMATION IN RESPECT TO THE EVENTS OF THE RESPONDERS AS IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE OFFENDER OR PERSONS INVOLVED MAY HAVE ACCESS TO SITES LIKE THIS ONE AND WE CAN BE GIVING THEM INFORMATION WHICH THEY CAN USE AGAINST THE EFFORTS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT.
2: Please do not ask about calls, i would hate to think that a responder is posting here or tempted to respond to a question, while responding to a call
3: Post calls with date, time and location
4: Training information is always a good thing to share, feel free to post your classes, open department trainings, or interesting training material you may come across.
5: Comment on posts with respect. this site is for reporting and USEFUL information to better the fire service and help us all network
6: Please post "in state" calls only, excluding anything nation wide that hits 5+ alarms
7: If you are going to comment your opinion on a thread, please make sure to read all other comments before adding yours, that way information is not duplicated and heated debates can be prevented
A SIMPLE FORMAT FOR POSTING A CALL:
Acton Fire and Rescue, respond to the area of 1725 RT 109 for a reported motor vehicle rollover, 1800H
The Admin's of the group can be found by clicking on the "members" tab, and selecting the option of "view Admin"
Abuse in this group will be held case by case, and will not be taking lightly.
This is not a group to "review" calls and talk about "what i would have done better" or what you think was right or wrong, doing so will result in a warning, second offense will most likely result in being removed from the group
Note: to either get, or remove yourself from getting notifications every time someone posts in the group, up on the top of the page select the "notifications" option and set it to however you like
