This Facebook group has been set up to allow members to chat with other people with Lupus, their family and friends. It is to allow people to share strategies for coping with Lupus and to know that there are other people out there that have had or are having the same experience as you.
Lupus can be a very lonely and frightening illness to live with. We hope that this group will provide positive information and a chance to compare notes. If there are any tips posted on here that we feel would be useful for all the North West Lupus Group's membership to know, we will publish them in the group's newsletter.
Lupus UK is the national charity that helps people with all forms of Lupus. A national magazine is published every 4 months, along with newsletters that are produce by the local groups. Being a member of Lupus UK, you will receive these publications, can attend events and meetings that provide information about the condition and you will have access to local contacts who are there to offer a sympathetic ear. Annual membership costs £10 single membership, £15 joint membership.
