Gathering place for Photographers in the Ottawa, Ontario region. This group is open to anyone interested in any form of photography, amateur to professional.
As of late there has been questions as to what can be posted or not? Here is what we find to be appropriate.
Seeing as this group is about photography, anything related to photography.
Other than pornographic, basically all photos are welcome.
Please do not post items for sale. There is another Facebook group explicitly for that and Kijiji is an even better option.
3rd party reviews of camera gear are accepted in order to create a discussion. As stated in a post, there are many sites which do provide reviews already. A link to something you found interesting is fine.
Please do not post links to your photography business website/fan page. There is no point in advertising your services to a group of photographers and if everyone did that the group would be flooded with advertisements. Feel free to share photos that are hosted on such pages though. Interested parties can follow the link back to your site if interested.
You may post any photography related events, whether directly related to or an event simply for some good photos ops (meet-ups, workshops or public events). You can also create an event for the group if you wish.
