Why did we create this group?
- We wanted to have a method of communicating to all the Cebuano readers out there and share all of our feels.
- We wanted to make friends. Unlike some, not everyone has friends with the same reading interests. Here, you can meet friends, neighbors, barangay mates, cellmates, textmates, schoolmates, callmates, inmates, and classmates who you never knew read books. (Just found out Richard is my neighbor-ish. And I just met him sa booksigning. Hi Richard! Hahaha)
- We wanted to make reading easier. We can do book exchanges among ourselves and give each other tips on sales, clearances and other bargains for us to further enjoy our lifestyle (reading is a lifestyle, yes).
- We wanted to make an impact on every author who visits our island. We can't do it with just one man, we need every reader we can get to make their momentary visit memorable.
Activities, gatherings, meetings, fan events, and more will be done by the group in order to promote friendship and love and more love and more more love.
We all share the same love for books. At one point, we all wanted to escape reality and escape to the world of fiction. Why don't we refugees stick together? We are welcoming you to this group and we hope you can share your love with us too!
