If you are available to short-term foster a week or longer and you want to help save cats and kittens in Tampa Bay, please feel free to post your availability, the length of time you can foster, and any particular foster preferences. Rescues are also free to post their foster needs. If you are able to help foster from HCPRC or one of our Tampa Bay high-kill shelters, please go to their websites to apply, or feel free to ask anyone in this group about becoming a shelter foster parent.

Sometimes short-term fostering is all that is needed in order to find these cats and kittens homes, and it can also give a rescue much needed time in which to locate a permanent foster parent so that more lives can be saved.

While all agreements are between the foster parents and the rescues, in order for foster parents and rescues to work together to save lives, each party must hold up their end of any agreements. In order for fostering to succeed, each party must be respectful and appreciative of what the other party has to offer. This is about utilizing our local resources in Tampa Bay to save lives.

This is a Tampa Bay cat fostering group. Please do not share cats from outside of Tampa Bay without contacting an admin first. Absolutely no soliciting of money or donations other than pledges to save a cat is allowed in this group. Your cooperation is kindly appreciated.

Please remember to quarantine all shelter cats and kittens from your own personal cats for at least 10 days.
