The club is a legally registered society since 2008, although we started with the original online community on Orkut in 2005 <http://www.orkut.co.in/Main#Community?cmm=7681938>.

We meet on the fourth Sunday of every month at 3:30 p.m. (usually in some public-space, announced a week before the meet) to discuss a pre-declared theme. With active forums, discussions, and news related to books, arts, and culture (usually Lucknow related), LBC is a vibrant Lakhnawi hang out for all interested, who often realize that having a few favorite books and authors in common leads to so much more...

Rules of the community:

2. We welcome single-thread posts to promote new (and old) authors and relevant cultural / fine-arts / literary events from different organizations.

3. Kindly use a single thread for promotion of your own book / event / relevant information. Please abstain from posting constant or spurious comments to keep your thread up in trends.

4. If you want to post the pictures of our own monthly meet, please make a single album instead of multiple posts with single pics. It is advised to post other relevant pictures in your own profile and make the access public, with a link posted at LBC page.

5. Kindly abstain from irrelevant or indecent posts, non-parliamentary language, or offensive behavior.

6. Membership and posting is not a right but a privilege, which is extended to positive contributions only. Administrators of the club are assigned with the responsibility of keeping the LBC page relevant, interesting, and clean.
