Group Guidelines:
1) All posts are subject to the guidelines listed below and the discernment of the admins. Posts may be removed without notice.
2)Do not post copyrighted or unlicensed performances or "file sharing" links. This includes recordings of live performances, a.k.a. "tape trading." Clips from YouTube are generally okay so long as they are from live performances and not "rips" from albums.
3) Do not request or offer copies of albums. All albums are copyrighted, whether in-print or out-of-print, and duplicating or ripping them to share with others is a violation of federal law.
4) Do not sell tickets above face value or what you paid originally. If selling tickets, please state the price up front in your offer (i.e. no "PM me for the price/more info" please).
5) No solicitation, spamming the group (e.g. "Please like my page," etc.), personal business posts (Scentsy, Mary Kay, etc.). Fundraising is limited to a few select events that the group participates in as a whole (e.g. St. Jude Give back.). It's okay to sell Avett merchandise, posters, etc. but name your price up front -- no "PM your best offer" posts. eBay links are fine.
6) Treat each other with respect. Discriminatory, libelous, or malicious language is not allowed. This also includes inflammatory statements (e.g. trolling). No "concern trolling" either. Do not message any members of the group to harass, argue, or threaten one another. Such behavior will result in immediate removal from the group. Utilizing this group, the name, and lyrics of the band for anything other than a positive space is not allowed.
Users found to infringe upon these policies will be removed from the group.
