The Exotic Game industry in South Africa is booming with the opportunity to create various colours of species and to discuss those interesting facts about the industry.
Do I need a boma for breeding buffalos? In some provinces it’s compulsory and what are the benefits thereof? What is the best way of catching game, may it be through the use of helicopters or by other means? Blood test where and how? Fencing Sizes and electrifying of such fences?
I just started with exotic game breeding and have so many questions and no forum to answer these questions. I have initiated this correspondence to share as there is definitely a need for us to share information.

Since I started breeding with exotic game i.e. East African Buffalo, Sable , Copper Springboks etc. I have started mixing with other people that have the same interests as I do. You need a lot of upfront capital or maybe inherited from your father or grandfather. That’s the reality. So this is an elite group and that’s why the questions and answers should be very specific to what is the best ways are of farming with game or exotic game. Discussions are welcome from blood lines, to the right breeding Bull for your herd and other vital information pertaining to the breeding of exotic game. “LET’S GET STARTED.”
