We're doing an experiment! (and we hope it goes well!)
This is a PRIVATE group for alumni of any of our classes at The Milky Way.
We are holding this space for you to connect with one another and grow as photographers and business owners in areas that may not be directly related to a specific course.
(Please keep course-specific questions in those specific alumni groups).
This community is built on integrity, honesty and respect (for your fellow students and for us)
Posts (and individuals) unable to follow the community guidelines below will be removed (...just a gentle reminder that being in this group is not a “right” nor part of your self-study paid course)
We ALL need to take responsibility for the energy we bring into this space...let’s make sure it is always GOOD energy.

: post other photographer's work (if you have a question about someone’s work, please simply link to their image on facebook or their website vs uploading someone elses work here)
***IMPORTANT***
1. Be specific if you are looking for feedback
And, let's follow the 3:1 rule (each time you ask for a suggestion, feedback, input, etc, try to offer the same to 3 other people)
2. Be kind (and save vents for your private group of friends)
If you need to have a vent, we understand - but please do so privately with friends (this is NOT the space for it!) :)
3. This is NOT a free marketing platform to promote other businesses, websites, forums, blog, etc - including your own (These posts will be removed, as will requests for votes and/or likes.
We want to keep the focus on LEARNING! Of course - if someone asks a question and you have a recommendation for them, linking to a resource is A-ok.
Note: From time to time, we may share resources + links we think you'll find valuable.

5. Respect each others time.
If you have a question that can easily be answered by "google" - please try that first! Then, use the 'search' function (little magnifying glass in top right corner) to see if it has been answered before!
6. Work as a community
If you have a concern about a post, click the 'report post' button found in the drop-down options in the top right corner of every post. We'll have moderators to help us stay on track...but really, we ALL need to ensure this stays a positive place to learn :)
