This group is primarily intended for buying selling and trading of goods or services, posts that are off topic will be removed at admin's discresion without warning or explanation, if your post was removed there is a fair chance you were in breach of one of the rules/guidelines or were generally off topic.
Rules:
1) If you don't have something productive to add to a post please do not comment, rude and abusive comments will be deleted and you will be banned, slanderours or defamatory remarks will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
2) No Illegal activity, Police monitor Facebook and the admins aren't interested in being questioned by the police (instant permanent ban).
3) No weapons allowed, strictly no firearms or knives (instant permanent ban).
4) No Alcohol, you must hold a liquor licence to sell alcohol.
Guidelines:
A) Vehicle posts must have a full description, at minimum, make and model, year, kilometres and engine/gearbox. IE "1999 Holden Commodore, 200,000 K's, V6 Auto".
B) All for sale ad's are required to have a photo a price and a location (if not located in Yass), "open to offers" is acceptable as long as you set a base price, if you want buyers to bid for your item post it on eBay.
C) Do not create 10 separate posts for similar items, for example if you are selling a bulk lot of kids toys posts a single photo with all toys and set your individual prices in the description, it is not necessary to upload individual photos of each toy.
D) No arguments about first dibs, please be considerate that sellers advertise items in multiple places at the same time.
E) Tagging a member or asking a question does not constitute first dibs, implied interest is not the same as actually being interested, if you are interested in an item please make that perfectly clear.
F) Do not reupload the same photos, bump you're original post at a maximum of once per day.
Failure to follow the rules will result in a one week ban for first offence (or permanent ban if the offence is bad enough) after which time you will have to ask to rejoin the group then permanent ban for second offence. Failure to follow guidelines will result in your post being removed.
If you have an issue with a member of the group please take it up with the member directly, do not start a fight in the group else all parties involved will be banned for a week at minimum. Lastly, anyone abusing or threatening members of the group (including the admins) via instant messages will be banned from the group for good.
