Welcome to Gahanna/New Albany Freecyclers. Structured after the National Freecycle Group, except it is designed specifically for Gahanna and New Albany residents. This will be a great way to give new life to your gently-used "stuff" and get to know folks in your area.
A few rules for members and activity:
Members must live in the Gahanna/New Albany area. If you do not live in the area you MUST be willing to meet or pick up in the area.
Please try to balance your taking with your giving.
No posting of free live animals.
Do not claim free items so that you may sell them on another facebook group.
Once you claim an item, please make arrangements to pick it up within 48 hours. If you do not, the poster can move on to the second in line (if applicable).
If you make arrangements to pick up an item and for some reason you are unable to do so, please contact the poster immediately so you can set up a different time.
Takers: If you are reported to me as a no-show three times, you will be removed from the group.
Givers: If you are reported to me as non-responsive three times, you will be removed from the group.
Everything must be FREE & legal.

In order to claim an item, comment on the actual post - do not claim it via private messaging. This makes it clear to other potential claimants that the item is spoken for. First comment on post OR picture gets the item. The giver will then follow order of subsequent comments.
