The Saint Petersburg Chapter was first organized at our May 8, 2008, meeting in St. Petersburg, Florida, and confirmed by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Board of Management on July 7, 2008. Since this time, we have grown eight times in size, we are the largest chapter in Florida, and for the last two years have added more members than any other chapter in the United States.
We would like to think we are special. Our membership is comprised of the most vibrant volunteers in our community and throughout the United States. We actively seek ladies who wish to make a difference as we further the DAR motto of serving God, Home, and Country.
