Rules:
1. Only baby items and maternity may be sold on this page. Do NOT advertise businesses or other products.
2. Recalled items may not be sold. (Drop-side cribs, certain car seats, Nap Nanny, etc.) Any products that are found to be under recall will be deleted. Info on cribs http://www.keepingbabiessafe.org/safecrib_law.shtml
3. Formula may not be sold, but may be given away for free. The reason for this is that WIC provides free formula, and we cannot allow people to try and make money from free formula. Therefore, NO formula can be sold here.
4. Once your item sells and has been picked up, please delete your post right away, or comment “Sold” so that an administrator can delete it for you.
5. You are only allowed to “bump” your item once every 24 hours. This includes making any kind of pointless comment that will cause your post to be bumped.
6. When listing car seats, please list the expiration date, or the manufactured date. Expired car seats cannot be sold.
7. Contact an administrator with any complaints against other members. Please avoid drama on the page. After 2 confirmed complaints or “no call no shows” from buyers, the person could be removed.
8. Administrators reserve the right to remove any post at any time.
9. Please remember to list price and location with every post!
10. When you see “int” or “interested” posted under an item, it means that a person is interested in buying that item or wants more info. Items should be sold on a first come-first serve basis. Always indicate that you are interested even if there are other buyers ahead of you. Deals frequently fall through and then you will get an opportunity to buy. When you see PPU under an item it means that someone has agreed to purchase the item, but has not yet picked it up. Once item is picked up and paid for, “sold” should appear under the item or the item should be deleted. It’s ok to send private messages (PM’s) to buyers or sellers, but you should always comment in some way on the post to indicate publicly that someone is interested in the item or that a deal is in progress. PLEASE NOTE, SELLERS ARE ONLY REQUIRED TO HOLD AND ITEM FOR NO MORE THAN 24 HOURS FROM THE TIME OF INTEREST UNLESS SELLER AGREES TO LONGER TERM.
11. PRICES ARE TO BE PRE-NEGOTIATED. Haggling on prices after meeting up will not be tolerated.
12. ALL ITEMS COMING FROM SMOKING HOMES MUST BE DISCLOSED AT THE TIME OF LISTING. NO EXCEPTIONS. IF ADMINS RECEIVE COMPLAINTS ABOUT CIGARETTE SMOKE ON ITEMS THAT WAS NOT DISCLOSED THE SELLER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED. These are baby and children's items and for those who do not smoke, it is important that they are informed about the condition of said item.
