As mother's we spend a lot of time focusing our attention to what is going in our immediate surroundings and find ourselves detached from the world around us. The goal of this group is to discuss current events, world issues, local issues, etc. It's not a group to discuss where to find diapers on sale or that your kid is having a sleep regression lol.
It is important, as mothers, that we stay informed on what is happening in our community, the country and the world so that we can pass this knowledge on to our children.
Hopefully we can all remain respectful of one another's opinions, but obviously some topics can get heated. Feel free to be heated, passion is good, but if it gets out of hand and there are any obnoxious name calling or personal attacks, you might find your ass grass.
This group is intended for local Vancouver Island Mothers only. It won't be fun if it get's too big.
