Sister Perennials is a group of sisters-in-Christ that meet at Antioch United Methodist Church in Adel, GA at 6:30 the second Tuesday of every month. We have sisters of all ages! You don't have to be a member of Antioch UMC to come, just a sister-in-Christ wanting to celebrate an awesome God! We start at 6:30 with a meal and fellowship, and then have a special guest speaker share whatever Christ has led them to speak on. We also have door prizes. We always have a blast! Please, come join us!

This page will serve as an update on any Sister Perennials news, a reminder of meetings, and a prayer chain. Please, feel free to post any prayer requests, spoken or unspoken.

We also provide childcare in our nursery so don't let that stop you from coming!

"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:30

Sister Perennials started meeting in May 2008. After our first meeting, those present that night decided we would call ourselves The Sister Perennials. Sister Perennials consists of a growing group of ladies who have a desire to know each other better and to walk closer to our Lord. Think about what a perennial is like and imagine God is looking down on us (as if a flower garden of perennials); he is surveying his work (us). The plants (us) look small and vulnerable, but yet...they look so promising. A perennial (us ladies) is indeed a promise that we will grow larger and stronger, a delightful sight not only in the first season, but even more so in the years to come. For unlike an annual, a perennial does not have a single year of glory and then need to be replaced. We are an investment...to watch us grow, and prosper, making a bigger and better show with each passing year. As perennials we make a living bouquet. Leaves of different colors and textures as they intertwine and mix (like us ladies). Perennials, as a group, are adaptable and forgiving (that's how we should be). A perennial is a plant that continues to grow an reproduce, year after year. We should be growing in number in Christ. Perennials ask little and give a lot. They make a long-lasting garden that gets better and better as time goes by. We are all different, just as God wanted us to be. We are a loving group of individuals, growing deeper roots in our faith and to show our church and friends how we can be all that God intends us to be and wants us to be for Antioch and the world we live in!
