This group is created for the purpose of sharing and collecting historical information about the high school football teams of Concord (NC) High School.
Concord High School began playing football in 1915. When a new showplace high school was opened in 1924, the football/baseball stadium was named after Dr. A.S. Webb, superintendent. The school's athletic teams took the nickname Spiders based on their home venue of Webb Field.
